Air conditioning repair. A homeowner noticed their air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly, and the technician discovered a clogged air filter restricting airflow. After replacing the filter and cleaning the evaporator coils, the system began running efficiently again. The homeowner was thankful to have cool air restored to their home.

Arrived to perform routine air conditioning maintenance and discovered the outdoor unit was clogged with leaves and debris. After thoroughly cleaning the system and clearing the airflow, the AC was running much more efficiently. Spoke with customer and she said that Cody had originally discussed replacing the capacitor but then shifted and said that it was the compressor. Customer would definitely like to have you/ someone more experienced look at it to make the determination. It is a York unit, still under manufacturer's warranty. I had tried to locate the part and learned that since York opened stand alones in the Houston area, for it to be covered under the warranty, we would have to order directly from York. I spoke with York, who could have us the part within days, however, for us to be able to order the part through them, we need to be approved for an account with them. I informed Tom and forwarded him the application that they send us to open an account and never heard anything else. Sent a slack message today to follow up. Will follow up with Tom again tomorrow. I told the customer that I would let her know what I find as far as our eligibility to obtain the part under her existing warranty.
